What deployment options are available for VALT?
VALT can be deployed in multiple configurations. You can opt for an on-premise appliance configured by IVS, host it in your own cloud instance (e.g., customer-hosted AWS), or use the IVS-hosted cloud (single-tenant) option.
How does IVS manage video encryption and storage security?
VALT supports encryption of data in transit via SSL/RTMPS and can accommodate encryption of data at rest through options such as TDE or EFS. The system provides detailed audit logs for login attempts, recording start/stop, playback/download, and admin changes.
Can VALT integrate with existing authentication systems?
Yes. VALT supports local authentication, LDAP/LDAPS, and SSO. You can combine these methods as needed and map user groups from your directory into the VALT software.
How are upgrades and maintenance handled?
IVS provides standard hardware warranties and optional on-site service agreements. One-year software support agreements cover remote support, and on-site visits are available under additional service contracts. The system architecture allows scaling and appliance upgrades to support increasing camera counts and storage over time.
Does IVS provide implementation support and training?
Yes. IVS offers turnkey system installation, including structured cabling, mounting, server configuration, and end user training.
What industries currently use IVS solutions?
IVS serves a broad range of markets, with our technology currently integrated into corporate, government, healthcare, education, research, and simulation environments.
